Special Match Opportunity

For New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger or poverty, simple things like a hot meal, safe shelter, clothing and basic medical care are completely out of reach. But it doesn't take much to change one of these lives.

Right now is a great time to be generous. Faithful friends of the Mission will match your first three monthly gifts, up to $10,000. As a New York Hope Partner, your first three gifts will provide life-saving care to TWICE as many people in our community.

The Bowery Mission is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation may be tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Last year, friends like you provided 430,000 meals easing the ache of hunger among New Yorkers looking for their next meal; 78,000 nights of shelter offering a comfortable, safe overnight stay to New Yorkers with nowhere else to go; and 150+ men and women participated in our Residential Programs, using our housing, counseling, classes and other support to make progress toward their goals.

Friends of The Bowery Mission have pledged a total of $10,000 to support our programs for people in crisis. This will be used to double the impact of the first three monthly gifts of new New York Hope Partners. Gifts in excess of $10,000 will not double in impact but will still help provide critical care for neighbors in need.
